"Do not leave this unit up for extended periods of time as it is not a permanent structure or designed to withstand wind or rain".
Is that just legalese or is this thing a metal tent?
In the description it says, "The roof is double-top vented for optimal airflow and stability during strong winds. Protects against insects, rain, and UV rays while enhancing privacy." So it's anybody's guess, really.
Has anyone bought this and do you have a real review on it?
We have the 12' x 16' version of this gazebo setting adjacent to our pool. For the most part we have been happy with the unit and its construction. We used Tapcon concrete screws to secure it to a concrete base. It took me and the wifey two days to put it together. The biggest issue I have, the design has you join the horizontal edge pieces in the middle of each run. That is to say, the 16' run is actually two 8' parts joined together. These horizontal parts act as a semi-gutter. When it rains, water drips out of the center joint, and has damaged my concrete. It also drips on the corners, but that falls on the leg mounts and does not hurt anything. I have taken it back apart and attempted to seal the center joint, with no success. I am currently considering adding something that will act as a true gutter. There were a couple pieces damaged in shipment, but the manufacturer quickly shipped replacement parts.

People don't care and always leave them up.
I've built a few of these, get a helper as it will take an afternoon.

How well does it handle a snow load?
