I've had this TV for a while now. I like everything about it except that Google TV doesn't allow the Xfinity stream app so you have to use a fire stick. Other than that, it was a great purchase! Bought on 8/19/23 for $579.99 at Best Buy.
Wish it was instock at Costco. Been watching for my zip for a few weeks and still OOS.
I understand from Reddit the U7K and the Costco U75K are the same. Why would you get this when you can get the Costco one [costco.com]for the same price with the extra warranty?

it will do 144hz fixed or VRR. it is a true 144hz panel.

Does it only do 144 if you has VRR capable gpu??

I believe you have to submit PoP to Hisense at the link below...

Right but the unique code from BB is needed and that hasn't come yet.

The 65U7K dropped to BF 2023 pricing when this 55" did. The 65" is $678 at Walmart/Amazon and $680 @ BB. As another mentioned... Costco has same pricing, but not always in stock.

Appreciate that. So it looks like this is probably the best price. Just need to find one. I prefer Costco but thank you for these, now I have some options. Also I need this for TV while in bed. How does this compare to the TCL q7? I have read some reviews but trust you folks more

Gotcha... didn't realize a code was needed when purchasing from BB. Looks like they're the only one requiring a code.

Our current Hisense TV tends to be really slow/unresponsive at times and has low memory for apps. Anyone who uses this one--how is your experience with startup, opening apps, overall responsiveness and speed? Does it ever seem to just bog down? Also, ours will sometimes "turn on" with no input and yet with the screen off; we notice this because the standby light goes off and our soundbar turns on.

Our Hisense is super slow/unresponsive at times. Anyone know how this performs? Especially at startup, or opening apps, can take up to a minute to respond to remote. Also will sometimes lockup/restart. Also will at least once/day turn itself off, without the screen turning on. We notice bc the standby light goes off and the soundbar will turn on.

Think this will drop in price more in a couple weeks with new tv's coming out or do you all think this is it price drop wise?

If it does, it won't be much. If you are interested, I'd recommend jumping now. Assuming you don't get one of the random bad units, these are great for the price and I doubt retailers will have any issue moving them. Especially at this time of year. Make sure you buy an extended warranty. Hopefully you won't need it but you would be wise to have it.

How is the quality compared to say Vizio back in the day? My M60 just died, and need a replacement, but I hear Vizio is junk now. And figured Hisense was kind of crap. But this looks decent. And native 144hz.

I guess I should Google first lol. Seems like a decent TV but Hisense quality is still poor it seems.

Vizio is NOT what it used to be. The U8K is much better than this and probably the best bang for your buck

I got this from Costco a week ago. I payed 600$, I was a bit salty that it just got discounted 120$. Costco does offer price adjustment if it happens within 30days of purchase. So they gave me the difference back, now I am very happy. Saw that it was out of stock good luck to everyone, it is a great TV.

Glad that worked out for you. I am salty because every time I see a tv at Costco on sale that I want, it is oos. Two times in a few months now. Ended up buying direct from Samsung for one and then the Hisense from BB.
