Bought one almost 2 years ago. Just recently really started using it. Really like it. Used it on a couple composite decks we've built. Pretty true straight out of the box. Blade has held up surprisingly well so far

Anyone have any feedback on that Hercules 12" Dual-Bevel Sliding Compound Miter for $300?
Been thinking about that. Have an older 10" Hitachi. This would be an upgrade for sure just trying to get over not going with a Dewalt/Makita/etc.

Anybody have any experience with it? I might try one sometime.
I got one to tinker with, it's my first exposure to welding and this been sufficient for me. I've done a few small repairs and its been fine. Lots of slag to clean up but that's my understanding of flux core...

I have a DeWalt but I use their 12" 80T Hercules blade that I think in this miter saw. All I can say is, their blade is tough and cuts really clean. I have used it for a while and I still hasn't replaced it because it still works fine. I think Hercules is a good tough brand.
