To prevent hyponatremia? Also, it's what athletic people crave.
Honestly, what athletic people? Who drinks this?
It's basically zero calorie, so an athletic person who is doing something long or intense enough to need that much sodium is in theory going to need food, which also has sodium.
I know there are low/no carb athletes, but those fuels tend to be salty.
Gatorade Fit is the one with very little stevia (less than 10 calories per bottle) So if you are not a regular Gatorade or soda person it is pretty good. I try to drink water, but I do notice a difference drinking this when I am on a long bike ride. My favorite is the Cherry Lime and second is Watermelon Strawberry. Thanks.
First time I tried this, I thought the product had gone bad. But, nope that's just how it tastes. Hard pass.
Might not taste great, but it actually has all the electrolytes you need (unlike regular Gatorade) with very minimal ingredients. Perfect post-workout drink.

Water is best for events under 60 minutes.
