We did this KFC offer last week. Hadn't had KFC in ages. It was not great. The chicken was greasy.
This week we tried a Popeye's meal deal. 5 boned pieces or tenders, 2 regular sized sides and 2 biscuits for 10.99.
We chose the tenders. They were white meat, the size was substantial, the ratio of chicken to coating was just right, and they were CRISPY and not at all greasy.
The meal filled us as well as the KFC deal and I didn't feel ill after or the next day, like I did with the KFC meal.

Many years ago I had Red Beans and Rice in New Orleans. It was wonderful. I went to Popeyes in Hollywood hoping to get more of the same thing yet closer to home. It was so greasy I was unable to finish it. That was about 35 years ago and I have not been back to a Popeyes.
