I went through 3 of the Hero Lightspeed's and the switches die quickly. 3-8 months. on each. The switches are easy to replace since they come with the PCB and connect by connector wires. Still, it is a disappointing failure prone switch.
Try the 502X or 502X plus. Completely redesigned with new switches that don't fail. FINALLY. It's a shame the 900 series doesn't have an X yet 🫤
I've had this since release. And its bittersweet. Sweet cause of the sensor and robust charging feature, Bitter cause This one seriously hurts my hands. Too narrow so it strains the side of your hands vs something like G602, which I love. Worse yet my fingers always get super sore with this one as the clicks require greater pressure than what I'm used to. The pressure difference adds up over a few days of use, then... pain.
Also, very loud clicks.
Not for me. But it could work for you if you aren't sensitive to the aforementioned issues.
I have the Dragonfly F1 MOBA Pro (the MOBA version has better switches) and I love it. Super light, the shape is great for me, and I haven't had any reliability issues over the last six months or so. Also the best battery life in a wireless mouse that I ever had. I got the 4k dongle but that's probably an unnecessary addition imo. I got mine off AliExpress but there are probably other vendors by now.
I don't buy Logitech anymore. Last two mice I had from them broke within a year or two. Couple that with their straight up awful Ghub software and honestly I wouldn't pay $10 for the mouse above. It's sad cuz I bought nothing but Logitech for like 20 years.
My G305 is doing same/similar with double click woes and copy, cut and paste failures after two years. Regret purchase, since no way am I doing mouse surgery. Ain't nobody got time for that. I'm coincidently looking at my super-shiny left hand gaming keys that have developed on my G815 keyboard two years in, and come to conclusion that Logitech is allowing China to take down its products with cheap/nasty parts. Do very little gaming BTW. I reported the keyboard wear and provided the pix they asked for- and was denied repair/replacement. QC and cost cutting is harming their reputation. Don't forget how they left us all high and dry with abandoning the entire Harmony Remote product line. My better half hates all the remote control clutter and confusion that has ensued.
My brand loyalty is gone. Just saying
I've heard soldering a new switch on is really easy, you could save a lot of money 💰💰💰
Yeah I'm on my second 903 right now. The first one I replaced the swathes but the battery eventually gave up the ghost and you can't get an OEM replacement to my knowledge and the aftermarket ones suck. Best mouse I've ever used. When it works.
Hey yall, I work from home and play on pc, my mouse lasted a while before having to change switches and battery. Which I changed myself and been working fine over two years. Idk about oem parts but I'm sure I bought it off eBay/amazon, regardless 3rd party is good. 2+ years and still no issues.

Somehow still on my first G900! From 2016
But it's starting to do weird stuff finally, so I'm looking at this
Anybody get theirs? These were advertised "Open Box" but they look "moderate to heavy use" to me... Tons of wear/scratches on the bottom and they were even used long enough to wear down the finish where fingers rest a little...

Same here. Definitely looks like heavily used. Scratches everywhere. They even had time to scratch up the inside of the little circle thing that comes off at bottom. So they must have used this for a while. Definitely not what opened box is suppose to be.
I got mine as well. Scroll wheel doesn't work. It was beat to CRAP. The slides on the bottom are almost GONE. Open box, no, used and abused. I already set up the return.
