So far, it's still as black as when I painted it and I'd suggest if you are using all the cans then to get one of those handle triggers for the cans.
I just pressure washed the furniture first and didn't prime it and this paint was good for years.
This paint will not work on dishwasher basket. Any paint, as far as I can tell, will not last very long due to alkaline dishwashing solution and water spraying/abrasion.
But there are some products available for this very purpose. Search for dishwasher rack paint, e.g.:
Performix Rerack 1 Oz. White Vinyl Coating Dishwasher Rack Repair Coating 630076
or
Rack-a-Fix Grey Touch up Vinyl Coating Repair for Dishwasher Racks (Model: RF-3)
Need to use epoxy appliance paint, about $8, very limited colors but much more durable
Like the door you drive your car through? No. It took me almost 3 cans to get solid coverage on a 32" entry door on one side and it chipped even after it had 2 weeks to fully cure before installing.
You'll want a true exterior grade acrylic latex paint for a metal overhead door.

It's okay, but, IMO, if you want the best durability painting bare metal using Rustoleum, get some of their self-etching primer and then topcoat with Stops Rust enamel. Did this 6 years ago for a banged up vintage metal pedal tractor I found in a barn, and even after being really beat on by nephews all that time, the thing still doesn't need repainted.
Go paint your car red 6 cans should be enough, post pictures after your done 😂
And most spray paints contain lead.
You should always use a seperate primer if you want any chance of it lasting
