That being said, I did have to send mine to the manufacturer recently(They sent prepaid postage), but they are sending me another one and asked me to let them know when I dropped mine off at the post office so they could send out the new one.
This did not deter me from ordering a 2nd one for my upstairs, especially at this price. And the add-on for a 2 year warranty with Allstate was only $10 so I got that too.
