Did you have to call?
Same thing happened with me, I texted customer care, they said I could return it to the store and reorder it again. Also offered to contact the manufacturer on my behalf to see why a single blade was sent. The best offer was they refunded this order, and helped me place another order, so will see if I get a single blade again or twin pack.
Probably just another single, I just opted for the refund and took a free blade
Bosch® EDGE™ 12" x 5-TPI Pruning Reciprocating Saw Blade - 5 Pack at Menards https://www.menards.com/main/tool...-10084.htm
Note that these have CARBIDE TIPS - Game changer! Saw through almost anything like butter, even with a cheapo tool. You'll feel like your reciprocating saw has more power than ever.
As mentioned before, where these blades really shine is in the dirt cutting roots because the carbide tips don't dull quickly.
You'll usually find the "2 packs" (actually buy one get one free in same package) around the holidays/big sales in the special event boxes near the front...

How about those "nail embedded " blades for tree trimming?
How about those "nail embedded " blades for tree trimming?
Blades designed for cutting metal usually have smaller teeth and more per inch, and those for cutting wood, larger teeth and fewer per inch. So yes, metal blades will probably cut wood, but probably slower and rougher than teeth designed for cutting wood.
For tree trimming, it's usually desirable to have fairly large and sharp teeth so the saw cuts quickly through branch before it begins to fall. If the branch is cut slowly, it might begin falling before the cut is finished, and tear off sections of bark from tree or cause saw to be pinched.
I have ton of pruning and cutting to do, so this works great for me. FS, too.
For your light usage ("ton of pruning and cutting to do"), you may be fine. But for digging out tree roots the 12" carbide tipped blade in the OP is a far better way to go.
