Whats wrong with using the boxes these bags come in?
Hahaha. Right? Why take the effort to put it in another box? Waste of time. Solution looking for a problem.

You keep the food bag boxes in a drawer or cupboard. If you're going to get a box cover get one for the tissue boxes that you keep in the open.

This helps keep the boxes in mint condition.

There's a similar item to this in store that has two compartments for storing garbage bags and plastic bags, it started out at $24.99 and went to clearance at $19.97, but I really think that's still too much and am waiting for the next clearance level.

I see the utility in storing small plastic garbage bags in something like this, as they don't come in easy to use pre-packaged boxes. I typically recycle mine from grocery stores. So that would be functional.
As I said in the second paragraph of my post, they have a similar product (maybe the same manufacturer) that is for exactly that purpose. These are kind of small for that purpose (and the labels would not be correct then which may bother some people), though I suppose they would work, just not store many small plastic garbage bags (something we do in our house as well, which is why I'm hoping the other product gets more clearancey than $19.97).

These are available in store, though then YMMV may vary on price (in either direction).

It wouldn't hurt if you throw that paper box at your husband.

Thx for the link - seems like something that would typically pop up at Aldi. Will keep an eye out for it.

Sometimes the boxes get caught when opening/closing our drawers, which means they're now a little wonky shaped and constantly in the way until the box gets finished.

For a few bucks I can see why people might say eh why not.

PSA: These boxes are not standard height, so they may not fit in your drawers if they're not extra long and tall. Several of my friends and I bought these a while back and had to return for that reason.

Because the drawers in my custom kitchen cabinets are slightly too shallow for every box of bags that I purchase (snack, sandwich, quart, gallon) no matter what the brand (Ziploc, Target, Walmart, Solimo). These bamboo boxes fit PERFECTLY with about 1/8" to spare between the top of the box and the face frame of the cabinet. I would have happily paid full price for these because they were an unexpectedly amazing find.

I have similar problems with foil and cling film rolls, so I bought the bamboo boxes for those too.

I get the original box the bags come with won't fit in the utensil drawer and some other drawers are also too shallow but unless all your kitchen cabinets are less than 1 foot high, why wouldn't they fit a box?

Any recommendations for the rolls boxes?
