Nice backpack.

I recently was at the San Antonio airport and I was surprised that they let you keep everything in your bag. That was a nice change. I hope more airports start doing that. Annoying having to take out laptops and tablets and put them in seperate bins like some airports make you do.

I feel like each airport has different rules everytime I fly though.

TSA Pre on some Newark terminals is a joke.

These backpacks are great for going through security, where many now just say laptops/etc need to be scanned separately, not necessary removed. For daily use, I also like what is essentially an extra, full backpack-sized pocket. I use this space on a similar backpack for a soft armor bulletproof panel.

What's a checkpoint? Is it like our border or what?

The Targus CitySmart Backpack has been a decent purchase for me. The gray color is versatile, and the size fits my 15.6" laptop perfectly. The checkpoint-friendly feature is convenient, although I've noticed some wear on the zippers after a few months of use. The padding on the shoulder straps could be improved for added comfort during long commutes. Overall, it's a functional backpack, but there are some minor drawbacks to consider.
