I got one of these, I love it except for the lid seems to close 1 inch crooked, so it doesn't fully close and even allows water to get in because it's not sealed. Not sure if anyone else had this issue. I'm still trying to figure out how to remedy.

The 80-gal shows ppl sitting on them, whereas the 100-gal - per the comment above - is allegedly more chintzy (and doesn't have the same promotional indicia).

So, any feedback on the 80? Is it a better box?

Got this 80 for my daughter - she wants to put garden stuff in it..
WAY EASY too assemble - but it seams so thin..
I did sit on it too test from the reviews and info - it is sturdy for a 200 lbs person fine..
it basically snaps together - weather it's waterproof or not - ?
Would not buy again.
Should be $40

The 100 gallon wicker version is the same price in case anyone was interested.

This or get one from Costco. This price really seems excellent.

How are these for keeping moisture / rain out? Anyone with experience
I've had it a few weeks. It's kept the rain out just fine. No idea about moisture.

I can't speak to the 100 gallon but the 80 gallon has a metal bar that gets screwed under the lip of the lid. That seems to be the source of that particular capability. I've sat on it and it seemed fine.

I have the smaller 31 gallon $20 unit. I purposefully put it outside directly in the rain to see how much water gets inside. I threw a paper notebook inside and after 2 days of off and on rain and a brief moment of down pour. It's bone dry inside... except for the water that fell inside when I opened the lid to look inside. (I watched it fall inside and splash). As for humidity, I'm not entirely sure. It doesn't feel damp inside. So I'd say it's good for awhile out in the rain.

just got mine (80 gallon) a week ago. matches exactly what everyone is saying. thin walls, snaps together. able to sit on it (200lbs) just fine. But i wouldn't recommend it as a daily chair. Keeping water out quite well and the security isn't really a security at all.

For $50, was worth it. All other alternatives are much more expensive.

Nice price, 100 gallon same price as the 50 gallon, but not all the same color / texture options between the two available. $10 dollars cheaper than what we just paid on Amazon (50 gallon) but we really needed grey to match the accents of our new Elitewood (alumawood) Patio and they are not available at HD. Using it to store my Charcoal and wood chunks of various types for my Gravity Feed Smoker / Grill

For moisture, you'd items stored in the box getting mold on them, especially fabrics etc

I understand what moisture is. I was saying that I haven't had it long enough to develop moisture issues.

Ordered this on April 14th, got shipment notification on April 17th with UPS tracking # but the tracking info hasn't been updated since. It's as if UPS still doesn't have it. Anyone else experience this? Thinking of reaching out to home depot support but not really sure what they would do ..
