The minis offer some great value at the moment, but not everyone wants that form factor. And to argue that an N100 can even approach the performance of an R5 5600G...well the numbers tell a very different story. 5600G Passmark score is 3.5 times that of the N100, with much higher power consumption of course. Maybe not so noticeable at light task loads, but really comes into play when you're crunching large amounts of data. To each his own. That's why I mentioned early in the comments that this is a good choice for multitaskers. To a degree, a higher performance CPU offers a longer life in terms of relevancy as well.
