This is a good price for this product, but it seems to be just basic oxalic acid and water, which can be sourced much more cheaply.

Also, oxalic acid is more of a brightener than a cleaner and should be applied following good cleaning with sodium percarbonate (oxiclean) & dawn soap and water.

I use 2/2/2 formula. 2 gallons of very warm water, 2 oz of dawn, 2 cups of oxiclean.

Gallon size is even slicker. Reviews on both sizes appear to be almost entirely paid product reviews.

Will this clean the stains on my standing bath glass door? It has white spots which are incredibly tough to clean.

Yep, I made the mistake this past weekend of buying a different brand because I couldn't find Mold Armor. Went through 2 $20 bottles with little results. Went back and found the last one of Mold Armor. One quick spray with Mold Armor and it was all gone.

SDS are great sources of information. Mold armor contents:

Sodium hypochlorite 1.0 -5.0 %
Sodium hydroxide 0.1 -1.0 %

So it's bleach and lye. Neither are anything to mess around with but *most* of the time, either full strength or diluted household bleach will take care of anything organic. Mold especially.

Just get a jug of pinch-a-penny chlorine and look up how to mix a soft-wash. Just water and some dishwashing detergent as a surfactant. All this commercial stuff in pretty packaging really doesn't have a secret sauce save for those that use hydrogen peroxide instead of chlorine.

I use 30 Seconds Outdoor Cleaner. Looks like it's the same active ingredients and percentage as Mold Armor. Just an FYI for anyone looking for this kind of stuff. Bonus is that it's made in the USA. MA might be too but I can't seem to find any information on that.

I'll try 1/1/1 with a 1 gallon water bottle for convenience. Thanks for the comment.

Does anyone know if this is any good on rain gutters?
For what, meaning what's the stain?

This is oxalic acid [thdstatic.com]. I have no personal experience with it but typically for black/grey stains on light gutters (runoff from shingles) you need an acid and some light scrubbing. I've used tire cleaner for this in the past, too. I'd think this product would have a shot at cleaning that kind of stain. Probably good for wood stain removal too (acid). Probably would etch concrete and other stone.

You can get 2 lbs of the acid powder for around $15; the Miracle Brands stuff is ~ 10% oxalic acid (not really sure what that means frankly, but let's assume a concentration of 10% by wt), so that 2lb from Amazon could give you 20lb of total solution which is about 2.5 lb, so that's about $6/gallon if you think of it that way. This deal is $3.90 for a half gallon, or $7.80 for a full gallon so it's more expensive, but you also don't have to be messing with crystallized acid either.

I'm a proponent of DIY home care whenever possible and not many people realize that these kinds of chemicals (cleaning agents, insecticides, fertilizer, etc) can usually be had for cheaper by not buying a "big box" version of it.

That's my go to, or rather I get pool chlorine and dilute it. This Miracle stuff is oxalic acid, not bleach, but many of the products you see in big box stores are indeed just bleach with some soap, colorant, in a fancy bottle.

Tried using it on my driveway. Not impressed.
Let it sit for 10min then scrubbed it. Resprayed sit for 15.
Did not take off tire marks, oil, or some rust spots. No difference at all if I scrubbed it with plain water.

This is about 1/3rd the price of 30 Seconds Outdoor Cleaner, so it would be slick, if it works as well. Unfortunately, I just picked up 3 gal of the more expensive stuff, which will last until next year, easily - including a deck cleaning and spraying the entire house.
