Lowest price I can remember for the 16gb version without actually having to send in a trade in. The free buds 3 is gone but maybe it comes back in time to stack.

My bone to pick with OnePlus is cutting the security updates with the less expensive phone.
This gets 3 years of OS and 4 years security updates.
The OnePlus 12 gets an extra year on both - 4/5 years.
Samsung and Google generally don't do this.
The Pixel 7a and 7 both have 5 year update commitments. As does the Samsung Galaxy S23, S23FE, and even the A54.
Although, with the Pixel 8a, S24FE, and A35 yet to be released, they still might - but there is no indication that they will. The 8a will probably get seven years, and the galaxies 5.
I keep my phones a long time, generally until the security updates run out.
Trade in price offered for my OnePlus is pathetic. Even OnePlus doesn't seem to value their own phones. While I really loved my phone, except the camera, will be upgrading to something else in future.
This is a great phone.. 16GB of ram is Gaming Personal Computer (PC) level...
with the Last Gen Flagship CPU Snapdragon 8gen 2 chipset, it built for gaming too

This is not a gaming phone. It'll throttle when you game a for a bit.
What is considered a gaming phone? My S22 Ultra (8GB) is struggling these days so I am looking to upgrade to something that won't break the bank.
Something like the ROG phone maybe. This is only one generation newer than the S22U (8gen2 vs 8gen1). You're probably better off waiting for a deal on the OP12, since it also has a better cooling system.

It's not a gaming phone per say but OP puts pretty big vapor chamber in their phones. Combine this with 8 Gen 2 for thermal control and this is still a very good phone for gaming.

Thanks for the recommendation. Unfortunately, the Asus doesn't work with Verizon for me.

Yes. It used to be $350, but they reduced the any phone trade in credit. I would definitely pay the extra $27 to get the 16/256.
but i saw the 8/128 as low as ~330 (i think)
i would rather get 8/128 at 330 v 12/256 at 427
