The Indianapolis MicroCenter Store has Apple MacBook Pro 14" Laptop in Space Black (Late 2023, M3 Pro; MRX33LL/A) on sale for $1439.99. Valid for in-store purchase only.
M3 Pro MacBook Pro 14" 18/512 [microcenter.com] $1439.99 (unavailable)
Update: The M3 Pro 14" is sold out, but some of the other ones listed below are still in stock.
Update #2: Lots aren't in stock but there are still some refurb M1 Pros and Maxes in stock and some M2 Pro and Max machines here and there so I added those.
Update #3: One M3 Pro 18/1TB in stock, updated that, I also created a
separate thread for Mac Desktop deals.
Update #4: The base $1440 M3 Pro MBP is back in stock, albeit 1 only, and I added the rest of the M3 Max MBPs that are still available, but those are the crazily expensive high RAM ones.
Update #5: I guess the $1440 M3 Pro was very popular, it's already out of stock after 2 hours. Also, there are some machines that are now unavailable so I marked those accordingly.
Update #6: Forgot to check stock yesterday (4/18), updated today (4/19), not much change though some M2 Pro machines are back in stock.
Update #7: Expired, thanks to everyone who upvoted and for whoever got new MacBooks, enjoy!

legend deal -- 14' base M3 Max for 2303.99 + 5% rewards from my BB credit card and (maybe) an extra $100 reward. WTF? getting this beast for less than list price of an M3 Pro 18/1tb.
Only "inconvenience" is I'll be returning my other M3 Max since BB wouldn't do a price adjustment on the backend. They oddly suggested I go the route of buying a new one and returning the old one. For these savings, not much of an inconvenience at all.
14" M1 Pro 10-core CPU, 16-Core GPU
16GB RAM / 1TB SSD
$2,459.93.
Yesterday picked up:
14" M3 Max 14 Core CPU, 30 core GPU
36GB RAM / 1TB SSD
$2,465.27
Basically the SAME price.
+20% single core speed
+40% multi-core speed
2.25x RAM
Same SSD.
And that's 2 years after I bought it. But, more relevantly, 3.5 years after the original release date of November 2020!!!.
Madness. I'll slap crAppleCare+™ on this thing, and see how many years I can get out of it. I should be able to sell the existing machine for $1,000-$1,200 (with ~14 months of AppleCare+ left on it). Legend deal is correct. This one was too good to pass up.

Been watching Apple deals for a long time. This is a unicorn. Getting 20% off a new Apple product is rare--but an almost 30% deal?? If not more after adding in some of the BB rewards/bonuses, etc.? Seriously getting wholesale prices if not better here.

Thanks! Congrats to you as well . Epic machine, and bananas price LOL.
"Wholesale prices if not better" is correct, according to their CS. It took me four tries to get the match. During one of the first three attempts, the CS person indicated that it was below cost for BB!
Honestly I "feel" for Best Buy in this case. I try to buy from BB any time I can. Since they started price matching Amazon, I've always bought from Best Buy if they have what I'm looking for. I prefer to support a real/physical store, that employs people, that I can go walk around, buy things same-day if I need them, etc. I get it, E-Commerce is amazing, and I've bought a shitload of things online. But it would be nice to have a balance. I can't walk around the Amazon store and look at things, because it doesn't exist... BB on the other hand .
Transcript from that chat:
You: Well, it was definitely worth a try. Perhaps I should have tried earlier today lol. I'm surprised Best Buy doesn't want the sale. I wonder if it's below cost for Best Buy, and therefore not worth it. Otherwise, would be a great way to move a bunch of machines.
Customer Care agent: it is below cost.
You: Ahhh OK, bingo. Yeah then totally not logical for BB to price match.
Customer Care agent: Apple pretty much sells them for the retail price to all retailers, the real question is, why is that ONE store selling it for so low?
You: True yeah. Who knows. Clearing inventory, needing to meet sales numbers. No idea. Good question.
You: Ah well. Thanks for your patience. I appreciate the explanation(s).
I have it on my iPhone 14 and iPad Pro 12.9 and I've never even come close to using it.
I have it on my iPhone 14 and iPad Pro 12.9 and I've never even come close to using it.
I got AppleCare+ on my 12.9" M1 iPad Pro... Dropped it while in Japan, but luckily only small scrapes on the aluminium around the camera bulge.
Also got it for my M1 14" MBP... I've dumped a glass of water on this machine twice now, while sitting at my desk. Both times, immediately unplugged and flipped it upside down, sprinted to get the shop vac, removed the bottom panel, vacuumed very aggressively (top and bottom). Then, placed it on the clothes drying rack with space heater underneath (~2 feet away). Used an IR thermometer to make sure it wasn't getting too hot. It's still cranking.
In the case of the phone, I would have paid WAY more for AppleCare/+ over the past ~10 years than I would ever have paid to get the 8+ screen replaced and the 14 Pro Max replaced.
Depends on your use cases. How careful you are. Do you have a credit card or cards that cover phone damage? If so, AppleCare is almost certainly not worth paying for. Is the laptop always at home? Are you not stupid (unlike me, dumping water on my laptop )? For an iPad and MacBook that I've taken with me on many trips, it's worth it. If I do ever damage either one, it's nice to know I can just get them replaced and keep moving. It's more about that, for me. I believe that in my case, user-inflicted damage is much more likely than outright device failure / manufacturing defect. I've had work MacBooks since 2014, never had an issue with hardware. Machine on 8-10 hours/day, 5 days/week. Running hot all day (even the M1 Max). Before 2020, in and out of backpacks back and forth to the office. etc.
Sorry for this mega wordy answer. I hope it helps. Add up the annual and total cost of crAppleCare+. Weigh that against how careful you are, and what it might cost to get screen replaced and/or whole phone replaced. Check to see if any credit cards you have offer phone repair benefits (e.g. Amex Platinum, and Capital One Venture X). You can only calculate so much. There's always going to be some element of risk and chance. Just have to make a decision you're comfortable with.
Total cost + Total tech membership - $1919.9 (Including taxes)
15% BB credit card rewards program - $287.99
Final cost of just the M3 Pro 1TB laptop - $1468.79
Total tech membership cost for 1st year - $163
Thanks again OP

Believe this $100 reward is no longer available or expired. Any tips or tricks to still claim it from CS team outside the buy period? I bought my mac on 16th April.
I tried and they said NO. I bought on 4/15
Ya I tried as well and they just said that offer is no longer applicable as it is not available on BestBuy site. If the URL was still active, they could have tried but in this case it is a strict NO as per policy.

Any idea where I can find the next good deal and around what time of the year?
