Don't waste your money on the Home Cheapo umbrella. Costco umbrella is much better and is sturdier than the cantilever umbrella. Go with the old adage, you get what you pay for. Costco umbrella is a much better choice.

Not true. Many of your garden variety bases are for 1.5" poles.

For the record, I meant "garden variety" as "readily available at all box stores"
In the meantime, I just yelled at my fanning/shade servants for feeding me lukewarm grapes
