Good deals but literally every single bundle contains at least one film already in my library… I really wish they'd provide discounts for titles already owned.
used cars is hilarious. prob one of the funniest movies you've never heard of

I'm taking this as "buy 3 movies for $5/ea, get one free" - with a random old movie thrown in too. These packages are all meh.
Probably the best way to look at it. If I could find 3 movies, in a particular bundle, that I really want and don't already have…. then it would be worth considering. But I can't find a single bundle that qualifies, and $5 seems to be the price most movies hit once in a while so I literally feel no FOMO urgency here.
This is the problem with almost every fixed content bundle. Anyone who has collected movies over the years will already own at least half of the movies in the bundle since these are mostly mainstream movies. In my case I have most of them on physical Bluray, and that's good enough for me. As a result I rarely buy fixed digital bundles.
If these companies could instead offer a buy 5 movies for $15 deal and allow us to mix and match any 5 of these, I probably could've come up with an order of 5. It's their choice to continue to offer fixed bundles and cater only to people new to purchasing movies vs. offer mix and match and allow existing collectors to buy.
I know Vudu has had mix and match sales, but I don't think I've ever seen one on iTunes. Their app probably doesn't support it, and I'm using an ancient PC version where you can buy movies and apps through it without owning an Apple device, so I can never upgrade my iTunes. I'm afraid Apple will disable it someday because all good things must come to an end. Everything to me is enjoy it while it lasts because the country is already circling the drain and it's just a matter of time.A
I don't understand your iTunes concerns. I am running the most current iTunes 12.13.1 on several Windows PCs. I don't have any Apple hardware, just the Apple TV app on my TVs. I suppose if Apple decided to stop supporting Windows PCs it would be an issue. Having "complete your collection" like in Steam would be great.

My understanding is without an Apple device, the only way to buy stuff is via iTunes on the PC. If the AppleTV app on Android devices supports buying movies, I've never done it that way.
Apple removed the ability to get apps (and possibly movies) from iTunes PC years ago, so I'm using iTunes 12.1.something. I read I can't upgrade iTunes without losing the ability to get apps (and possibly movies). I'm OK unless Apple disables old iTunes versions from working. Then I would have no idea how I could buy anything on Apple. It's unlikely I will ever own an Apple device (or any other overpriced brand names) unless someone gives me one which is the only reason I have a bunch of free iTunes apps collected over the years.
