Ikea currently has some daily promos going on for their in-store restaurant. One of the best deals is on Tuesdays - Ikea Family members (free to join) can get any adult hot entree for $3.99. Other deals are posted below. Offer good until 8/31/2024. The cashier indicated that each person doesn't need to be an Ikea Family member - as long as one party shows their membership, you can all order with the promo pricing. As for the meatball entree, I believe it's for the 8 piece (not valid for the largest portion size).

Daily specials:

Monday: Go meatless with 8-piece veggie & plant ball plates for $3
Tuesday: Get any hot entrée for $3.99
Wednesday: Get 2 free kid's entrées when you buy 1 adult entrée
Thursday: Get $1 off Swedish meatballs
Friday: All customers get 50% off all hot entrées

Terms:
*Offers in-restaurant only through August 31, 2024. Valid in the U.S. at participating IKEA Swedish Restaurants only while supplies last. Not valid in locations without Swedish Restaurants. Offers are as follows: 1) Mondays, 8 piece plant ball and veggie ball plates are $3.00 plus tax for IKEA Family; 2) Tuesdays, all hot adult entrees are $3.99 plus tax for IKEA Family; 3) Wednesdays, two kids' entrees free when you purchase an adult entrée (maximum of 2 kids meals per adult meal purchased) for IKEA Family; 4) Thursdays, all Swedish meatball plates are $1 off for IKEA Family; and 5) Fridays, all meatball entrees (veggie ball, plant ball, and Swedish meatball) and hot adult entrées are 50% off for all customers. Not valid online. Discount applied pre-tax at register. Other restrictions may apply. See store for details.

Wow I feel attacked. I love the meatballs + gravy & sauce. Now on Tuesdays I gotta decide between IKEA and KFC, hmm 🤔🤔
For my family, going to Ikea restaurant is only for super special occasions, like birthdays and anniversaries. We put on our nicest clothes and hop on a bus to Ikea. Everyone loves it there!
Swedish balls and the jelly are my fav.. i hit ikea every now snd then for the long walk and a meal

For the 8 meatball only, for 12 you pay the difference. I asked the cashier and they were glad I ask before you order, because some customer got mad and had to get the manager involved.

It's not about the quality of food there. It's just pathetic to eat a meal at a farking furniture store. Go to a real restaurant if you want to eat.
Do people say the same thing when they go to Costco for the $1.50 dog and soda? Same with mall food courts

Food is food and a key enabler to go spend money somewhere.

Food is a huge part of what Costco does all the time, from groceries to prepared meals. The food court is an obvious addition, like a sandwich counter at a grocery store. A sandwich counter at a furniture store is a bit odd, though.

People, especially those who are remodeling or bought a new home, can spend a long time at a furniture store. It's pretty convenient to be able to hop over to Ikea's food area to take a break, grab some grub and recharge. I don't understand why people are so closed minded when it comes to unconventional places offering food.

they had swedish or plant based meatballs, lemon cod, salmon or chicken tenders meal last time i was there. sides were mashed potatoes, peas, assorted veggies, broccoli, and mac and cheese.

i've had all of those at one point or another, and you can't beat it for under $5.

you can't even get a fast food meal for that. last time i went for a whopper combo, it was $8.99.

the only odd thing for me is they won't put it in a takeout box... you have to ask for a box at the register, then box it yourself. seems to me they could save a dirty plate or two just putting it in the box directly to begin with.

Just for your Ikea, ours simply has a take out spot where you can put it in a box yourself and don't have to ask

Just did this yesterday and the cashier let me know you also get 2 FREE KIDS MEALS with a single order of the meatball platter. My fiance and I didn't have kids with us and they said no problem and gave us a chicken tender (2 with fries) meal and another meatball (4) platter for free on top of this they also give you 2 free coffees!. Pretty slick deal for $9! Even slicker if you traded in old furniture for 50% of its value in store credit like we did. Food tasted the same to me as it always had, take that as you will. Cheers

Can you walk in and go straight to the restaurant or do you have to go through all of their departments first? (I have never been to an Ikea but I hear things).

I don't know your specific layout, but you pretty much can walk straight to the food court. You might walk through a department or something.

Getting out is the problem in all of the Ikeas I've been to. The cafeteria is usually pretty easily accessible there's just no way to avoid the maze afterwards.

There are shortcuts to skip most/if not all of the maze, and they are marked, just not very well.

Indeed there are shortcuts, but I got stuck one time when the quickest way out was via elevator and the elevator was busted. Ended up having to go all the way around. It was a different "shortcut", that still took a lil while.

Thought to myself I'll never want to be at an Ikea that catches on fire. A maze with a bunch of flammables.

Our IKEA sells a lot of food (frozen, fresh, snacks etc) in a grocery type store on the first floor as well as having the restaurant on the second floor. So they definitely aren't just a furniture store. Are all IKEA's not like this?
