and if you feel that's not the exact "model", read carefully the ingredients, prepare to be surprised. Besides fluoride, everything else is "inactive ingredient" - not allowed to be claimed as effective under FDA rules. So it's all innuendos - "MaxWhite", oh it's just a name we chose - "freshens breath"? only because it's a mint - "Whitens"? sure, mechanical abrasion removes stains to an extent - "crystal mint"? just a name

Colgate Max White Toothpaste with Bright Strips, Crystal Mint has titanium dioxide white dye because they wanted it white colored toothpaste
All 3 dyes are legal in US under FDA rules. TiO2 is already banned in EU, while Blue 1 and Yellow 5 are legal. CSPI is lobbying for all of them to be banned from food products, e.g. see this on TiO2:

To me, coloring does not matter re toothpastes: if you are concerned the dyes are bad, do not swallow
