Even at $100 it's meh, because it's made of "Faux PU Leather" or synthetic leather. It may last months or even a year or two, but it will eventually crack or peel.
The fabric one is a decent deal, the faux leather is just a waste of money. Will 100% peel within two years then you have an unsightly recliner that still works
No way on God's green earth is the regular price $300 for these! $99 is a decent price, yes.

Greatest marketing gimick
Add the word leather, so we think "premium"
Combine with faux, so makes it legal, I'm guessing. And, faux sounds better than fake.

Fooled me once, never again!

Several of positive listed reviews don't apply! They are for chair with electric massager action!

I am normally the first to agree.....however $300 reg sounds about right.

If it was $500 I would say no way, especially for not motorized

Read the reviews. It's very slim like the one my sister bought my mom years ago. I go visit and couldn't sit in it! Sis says "it's for mom, not you!". It was from another cheap vendor. This might be fine for a seldom used room for a petite individual but IS NOT FOR A 30O LB PERSON.

PU leather is still much better than bonded leather. For budget Furnitures, imo: cloth> PU >>> bonded.

I bought something like this a few years ago... ended up trashing it after it peeled too much. The fake leather was super-thin too.

Faux leather - It will peel, it has peeled, it did peel, it peels. Just my experience irregardless of how much it costs. But it's the buyer's choice.

These are pretty small. I'm 5'11" and I am too long for them. I have the cloth version, and I put a recliner cover over them to keep them from staining. We rarely use them, but they've held up fine. Just not big enough for me.

In fact I had breast cancer surgery and was told to sleep in a recliner for a bit. I actually looked at renting one so that I'd be comfortable. Which is sad bc I own 2 recliners. LOL

Looks like you'll get 8-12 months of sweaty ass from this, then away to the dump it goes!

62.4" when fully reclined? Is this for kids?
I was about to comment similar. I made the mistake of getting a cloth recliner online and it was 7/10 scale of a normal chair. These should have a warning for anyone over 6 ft.

It's fine. It's not meant for landwhales like most traditional recliners. If your butt is not wider than 2ft you should be fine.

These are compact and will work in a smaller room much better.

Armrest are narrow but comfortable

Great for occasional seating, reading, movie watching etc.

They're superbly padded. Don't have pressure points or gaps.

Longevity is a question, everything else is fine.

I have a full size recliner in my movie theater in the middle position, but I sit in this chair 100% of the time. Never felt uncomfortable in it. Just wish it had a 125 deg recline angle, a bit lower than its 1st position.

I wish someone had told me about this fake bonded leather years ago before we spent $1500 on crappy Ashley couches and chairs. The peeling is real. But might be ok as an accent piece or something "disposable" for a kid's room or whatever.
Bonded "leather" is 15% leather powder made from from scraps, and 85% plastic powder, applied as a coating to a backing material. The coating peels off after a little while. They should outlaw the term "leather" for this type of material.
