If Casio starts to add Bluetooth to their watches and just send notifications + step counter... it would be a game changer.

They have the GBA900 that has some smart functions communicated to your phone over Bluetooth. It's not cheap though.

A number of G-Shocks have a Bluetooth connectivity. Not sure what is being sent to the phone, though.

I used to wear cheap Casios like the FW91 until I realize I break them every 2-3 years by either hitting my wrist into something or dropping it in the shower. Finally spent another $20 for the classic gshock like the dw5600e. Looks less cheesy like this one and hopefully will last twice as long.
