I bought this desk back in December off of Amazon for $189. I would say it's 50% junk.

The metal frame is decently sturdy but the veneered plywood is thin, no more than 1/2 in thick. This isn't terrible for the desktop as it is supported on all four sides by the metal frame, but the upper level shelves are only supported by U and L shaped metal supports on the end/middle.

I actually broke one of the shelve pieces clear in half, foolishly attempting to shove one of the legs back on that had popped out. The plywood is simply too cheap/thin to handle anything but the slightest lateral force. It wasn't a total loss for me as I had planned to use an adjustable monitor arm that would have been in the way of one of the sections, so now I just have no upper shelf at all.

The led lighting is not preinstalled, it just comes as a short adhesive-backed roll for you to DIY.

It might appear that you can arrange the two halves of the desk in whatever arrangement you like, but due to how they fasten together, you are limited. I busted out my drill to put additional screw holes in the frame so that I could have my CPU tower to my right and be able to see all the RGB components I over spent on.

In retrospect, it's not worth the $189 I spent on it. Somewhere between $100-$150 would be more appropriate. $69 is a really good deal.

I don't know how real the original price is but for $70 this seems like a good deal. Ordered one for my son.

Super helpful! I bought one last night after spending 45 minutes looking at l shaped ones at Amazon.

I liked that this one was a good bit deeper than most of them, and of course, the price.

I was hung up on how to configure it bc my glass part of my case is on the left side when facing it. And other than putting it on the other part of the l, I couldn't figure out how to make it display best.

Any chance you'd send me a pic of yours as a message? How many holes did you drill?

Very tempted to buy 2 of these and see if I can make it longer, at least on one side. That 38.5" on both sides would be a little small for my area. I got my two 34" ultra wide screens on one side and two 24" screens on the other side for work and it would be tight.
I wonder, if I buy two and use the 2nd square middle section in the middle if that would work, giving an additional 23.6".
Dang, my IKEA glass desk is 33" deep so loosing 10" is bad.
