Neither is a great option due to the handles being attached to the lid.
If you have to pick one, I'd avoid the ozark trail growler. The carrying handle ring is attached to the lid by a tiny hinge, which means that the tiny rod of metal in the hinge (prob close to the size of a 0.9mm mech pencil lead) and little plastic coupler is supporting 4.17 pounds of liquid. The plastic holding that metal rod in the tiny hinge will not last.
Best thing to do is get a durable carrying pouch with handle, something like what Iron Infidel makes.
Just an FYI - I have the smaller versions of this growler. Just my 2 cents - we went through a couple of these hydration lids that are included. If you need replacement hydrations lids - Otterbox has discontinued the hydration lid, so buyer beware. They do make another lid that you can get, that is just a handle that screws on. The hydration lid is nice because you can unscrew the small cap and drink from it and it has a handle - convenient for kids.

Ozark trail $15, if you're going to go off brand might as well go with ozark instead of a phone case company...
FWIW- Otterbox has been making coolers, tumblers, and water bottles for well over a decade. The large cooler I bought from them out performed the comparable Yeti in tests, was cheaper, and was made in the US is that matters to you (not all Otterbox products are).

The ozark trail model I have has a large steel pivoting handle on top, not sure they make that style in the 64oz anymore, but it's very rugged. We have owned a couple for a few years.

So a company known for making high-quality plastic phone cases, that specializes in waterproof, or a company that makes low-quality plastic everything, specializing in falling apart. Think I'll go with the otter box.

Sometimes the house brand wins. If you like this brand go for it, I just have always had great luck specifically with travel mugs and water jugs in the ozark line. Many years with several of them and zero failures or issues.

There r pros and cons. The handle in the lid keeps the unit as slim as possible if ur putting in a smaller cooler or putting with other items. A side handle makes much easier to carry and pour. But takes up more room.

I have the Ozark trail but when I got mine years ago they sold a chug lid and it's much better than the one that comes with it. I didn't see those in stores anymore but that option is great

It's a steel fluid container… I don't think a warranty is really important
