The clamps are nice and good quality. I have an older version of the precision cut jig and track and it absolutely stinks. I don't know if this newer version is any better but I'm not going to gamble on it. By the time I spend money on the old version plus the new version I'll be halfway to buying a quality track saw.
Those 2 pc parallel clamps sets seem like a deal, but the 8pc one just seems worse unless that clamps are different quality? The little blocks are only $25 on Amazon

That's what I ended up doing. I got two sets of 2 piece 50 inch clamps. I figured that I could always 3D print those blocks anyway if I ever need them.
Seems like a meh deal on the clamps. Toolnut I think usually has them around that price. I've gotten the yost ones cheaper in the past and they appear to be the same design.
Where is the justification of this "sale" price let alone full retail? When you can get 3/4 pipe clamps that are only limited by the length of pipe you purchase, for a quarter of this sale price..... I'm just failing to see the value here.
I love my pipe clamps but parallel clamps are superior in many ways. Much easier to keep panels flat with parallel clamps is probably the biggest.

I've been woodworking for over 40 years. In my vast experience, parallel clamps are superior to pipe clamps. It's really just that simple.
But I do own both, and I use both. They both flex bend and bow the same exact way once tension is applied. So why pay more for the same muffler?
