bk is hella expensive these days 3.40 for a double cheeseburger. Also their "large" fry containers are smaller than the medium at McDonald's. I do like their onion rings but a large only has many 10 in there if you're lucky. Given these things I greatly prefer mcds but I'll eat some BK if it's free or it reduces the cost of my meal once I go to McDonald's.

I use the BK app and get a Whopper for $3.18 on Whopper Wednesdays including tax.

Yeah the Fry thing was the final straw as to why I've by and large stopped going.. I only go now when I have enough points for a cheeseburger.. I'll get free "large" fries, use points for the cheeseburger, and get a soft serve cup. I used to love the rodeo Burger, but the price slowly doubled over the last year
I also have a "free whopper with $1 purchase " coupon. I'm not even gonna use that bc I don't feel like buying something I don't want just to get a quarter pound burger.
While their free fries with purchase seems like a decent deal I would rather just use the mcds 1.19 large fries coupon. That's more fries and the fries are much better.
which would be equal to paying 12.72 per pound for "flame broiled beef" on Wednesdays without cheese. Not exactly a great deal.
The double cheese burgers are around 3.20 every day and also have a quarter pound of meat but include cheese.
Buying the double cheeseburger is ~60% less efficient per-pickle than the single cheeseburgers. Why even bother?
Ok but I genuinely don't know what you were getting at here? Yeah the Double Cheeseburger is more efficient if you're only in it for the ground beef? Do you peel the patty out and toss everything else? The Whopper is a completely different flavor profile, they aren't equivalent

Edit: worked when I tried again an hour later, thank you for the link!
For being the Home of the Whopper, there is hardly ever a BOBO on Whoppers.
Mostly meals.
Very sad.
