Meta just started their April sale which runs now through April 28th at 11:59PM
Lots of really great games and deals this time around, especially if you just got into the Quest with the recent sales!
FYI: Friend APP Referral Codes (25% discount on games) can't be combined with the existing discounts.. so if a game has less than a 25% discount, you're better off waiting for the sale to end and using that. Fortunately there are a lot of really good discounts this time around.
If you recently bought a game and have put less than 2 hours / 14 days into it, you can refund it (instant refund) and re-purchase it for the lower price. To do this, open the Quest app, go to Settings -> Purchase History -> Refund Purchase
If you buy a game from the sale and just don't like it.. same thing, easy refunds so no real loss if you're on the fence of a game. I've had really good results with games but have had a few that just had terrible controls.
Recommendations:
Pistol Whip - At $20, this game is a ton of fun and has had some amazing (free) updates, highly recommended!
Les Mills Body Combat - $20, great fitness/workout game that is entertaining and fun (and a good workout!). Most of the other good fitness apps require a subscription.. this one doesn't.
Rez Infinite - $11.99 - Classic dreamcast game with an awesome new level. It's worth it for the new level alone!
SynthRiderz - $14.99 - Great music game that is right up there with Beat Saber. Lets you add custom songs even!

Superhot VR is insanely great however, way better than even the console game. Straight up Neo-ing the whole thing is incredible and unlike any other game I have ever played.

Audio Trip is fun.
Red Matter 2 is great.
Golf+'s graphics is like being stuck in a early 2000s era.
Walkabout Mini is not bad.
Eleven Table Tennis probably the best sports game of all time because it's more realistic in VR and the skills you get from within the game will 100% applied in real life table tennis, which is the only game that will carried over to real life scenarios.
My favorite game currently is Les Mills Body Combat and Thrill of the Fight. Now these types of games are great for VR because it gets your fat ass moving. PCVR is mostly for morons, don't do it. VR is about getting up and move around and lose weight. If you're gonna be sitting down, then VR is not for you and obesity is in your future.
Lastly, get SideQuest so you can adjust CPU, GPU, Refresh Rate and that juicy Resolution.

The game "Wander" uses Google Maps Street View to give a 3D like experience in a whole lot of places in the world.
Before we travel to new cites, we will first go in Wander and check things out. We did that before our trip to Scandinavia last year, and when we got there, it was like we already knew some of the places.
That being said, the stitching in between the 3-D photos from Google Maps is not perfect. It's kind of like if you're on your computer doing street view and walking, it doesn't exactly stitch together perfectly. But it really gives a great idea of places.
Enjoy!
I can spend many, many hours in Google Earth on VR. Incredible experience.
ETA I logged out and back in and the sale prices are still not showing. So weird

Red Matter 2 is great.
1) Is it fun solo? Most of the comments are about how great the multiplayer is - is it fun by yourself?
2) Does it need much space? Maybe the name 'walkabout' is throwing me off, but is it something that can be played in a small (3x3 foot, for example) area, or does it need move to roam around?
I hear lots of great things but always end up going for others when I see it on sale, due to the above questions!

I can comment as a casual gamer with no online friends: it's a pretty cool game that I like to play when I'm in the mood. It's a great application of VR and neat to play. But I would have a ton more fun to play with friends. There are some ridiculous holes that are entertaining to play solo, but would be a much better experience laughing along with buddies as you watch each other fumble through.
Oh, and no, it doesn't take much space. The walking part can be done stationary. There may be some moving around to adjust your shot, or looking for hidden balls, but not much overall.
