Be warned though! If you tend to lean towards the path of least resistance in these type of games (i.e. meta builds, cookie cutter weapons, etc.), you will find that in the current version of the game a lot of that type of stuff has seen balancing updates.
NG+ is still currently not balanced very well so most people prefer to play regular NG or NG+0 (you are able to carry your character and non-progression/story items over and start a new game without increasing the difficulty). Some of the big updates that were announced and have yet to be released are an enemy randomizer mode, permadeath mode, and other vast playthrough customization options you'd typically only see in modded versions of these types of games.
