also, they don't hold enough power to keep a 60V tool running for very long while still being bulky. similar footprint to the 9ah battery.
you buy them if you wish, but people who know better won't touch that trash. in the 3 hours since this sale went live, 300+ of the 12ah batteries have sold, while the 6ah 2-pack only sold like 15 units. there is a reason for that

I wasn't saying the 6ah were superior in any way.
But two big aspects are being smaller and literally just being 2. You can use them on two different tools or continuously use one while the other is charging and have very little down time compared to using one full battery then having to charge it before continuing.

6ah flexvolt batteries are good. They are way smaller and lighter and in most tests put out more amps than most dewalt batteries, excluding the 9ah, 12ah, 15ah.
They are great for 60v tools, when you want to keep it as light as possible (love them for the circular saws) or for flexvolt advantage tools, when you need extra oomph. The 12ah are my battery of choice for the 60v grinder and blower. Anything else and you're constantly swapping batteries.
