Have done this on many battery driven devices -- like a hybrid recumbent/elliptical, faucet sensor, automatic trash can (lid). Often find the right A/C in box of random adapters that don't go to anything. Lol. Match output voltage (make sure it's a DC converter) and watch for proper polarity (noted on adapter)
