Eat to live don't live to eat. There are plenty of other places that grow coffee beans. Prices might fluctuate a little but it's not going to be crazy. Might have to change brands but honestly not a big deal.
$3.61 / pound . I think that's around Aldi's regular price.
I usually buy the 10oz brick and they're in a vacuum plastic foil wrapper
and stay in a tight brick form until you open them and hear the air rush in.

The use by date has always been way into the future.

Though the OP didn't mention it, there's also a deal right now when buying the 10 oz packages: $45.49 for 12 packages, but only $35.91 with Subscribe & Save for your initial delivery. That means each 10 oz package costs $2.99, which is a good deal compared to Aldi's price.

While the cost per ounce of the 10 oz deal is slightly higher than the 16 oz deal, the issue of the coffee becoming stale before you use it is a bigger concern with the 16 oz packs.
$45.49 AFTER Subscribe & Save for me. ALDI's current price is $3.85. Great coffee BTW, both espresso (Gaggia) or drip (Cuisinart).

EDIT: OP is correct, I missed the coupon! Price is now $35.91.

Aldi has the 10oz brick for $3.75. Walmart $4.

1 out of the 24 bricks I bought last February came with the vacuum seal broken, hopefully it won't happen again.

Brazil and Vietnam are the main sources of coffee in the world.

What's the grind like on this? Can't tell from the description. Is it fine enough for espresso?
The grind is perfect for Moka pot. Not fine enough for espresso, but with a pressurized basket I can get a 1:1.5 extraction in about 12 seconds. I then add an equal amount of hot water. Mix and enjoy.

Does anyone know how this would fair in pour over when using the Switch Immersion Dripper? Would it be any better than the traditional pour over dripper?

I make Bustelo every day using a Hario Switch V60, letting it sit for 3 minutes. For me the result is much better than using a simple pour over dripper.

That's just my opinion of course, but I have never read anyone claim that any coffee (not just Bustelo) tastes better using the traditional pour-over method.

The traditional pour-over approach wins on convenience, but loses on taste/flavor.

I had that same problem once in the past with a deal like this, and Amazon would not consider a return or partial refund.

That said, in my case the seller was not Amazon. For this deal the seller and shipper is Amazon so the situation may be different.
