Nope. QD OLEDs (Samsung) are different from OLED (LG) panels. OLEDs have a white sub pixel layer where as QD OLEDs don't. QD OLEDs typically have better panel uniformity from my experience. LG OLEDs have an advantage when it comes to size because they can produce panel sizes up to 97" where as QD OLEDs are currently capped at 77". Lastly color brightness and vibrancy is much better on QD OLED as well.
It depends on use case. If you absolutely need Dolby Vision then I'd recommend you go with LG or Sony. The equivalent Sony QD OLED is way more expensive. The only LG OLED than can compete with QD OLED is the G series that's equipped with MLA Technology.
I'd go with the QD OLED unless you absolutely hate Samsung or you need Dolby Vision. Stay away from the S90C 83" because it doesn't use a QD OLED panel.
IMO... the 5 yr Costco Warranty is better than the 2 yr BB warranty. The 5 yr Costco warranty coverage is as follows: Yr 1 - Manufacturer, Yr 2 - Costco, Yrs 3-5 - Allstate. My 65" C1 (purchased @ Costco) developed burn-in during year 2 of the warranty, and I received a full refund through Costco Concierge. That's as good as the BB 2 yr warranty that covers burn-in, and then there's 3 more years of coverage through Allstate/Costco (though that 3 yrs does not cover burn-in).

As a reminder for everyone receiving these orders, do not allow the delivery service to leave until all contents inside the box have been inspected.
My delivery guys got out ASAP and now I'm stuck with a damaged unit (cracked screen to boot). Costco won't assist as an exchange if you decide to return in store or even help contact the delivery team who just left even if it was minutes ago. Net, return/rebuy is your only option if you don't want to hold on to it until redelivery.
Dang, deathguise, thanks for the tip. Luckily both my units arrived safely, but you're sharing a good lesson for everyone.
Anyone tried mounting this tv? Which M8 size bolt screw did you use? The 4 holes in the back seem to vary in depth making it difficult to find the right size bolt screws for the job.
Damn really hoping this deal would come back. Kind of made up my mind getting this over the G3 77 after watching the FOMO videos. I might get from Samsung EPP if this deal won't return, but still would rather get at Costco for basically $1850 with the 5 year warranty. Still kicking myself in the ass missing this
Delivery guy complained I asked him to put it into bedroom I thought delivery was supposed to include room of your choice and they brought it in the house box upside down. they also left before giving me a chance to inspect panel I guess they took a picture of it as proof of delivery so they didn't need my signature
I recieved only $50 card, do you have a screenshot of the offer page, with $150 shop card. Appreciate your help if you can send it, I will email support and ask them for it.
Can anyone who has the image send it or post it please.

Really debating between this and the G3 at $1000 more, or G4 at $2500 more.

That's on paper, practically speaking the C/G produced a more accurate PQ imo.
