Based on all US prices, Costco included, we stopped buying from the US and instead starting purchasing from Pets MegaStore AU (you can search exactly that to find it). As an example, a 6-month supply (double the amount) of the same NexGard listed on this post (28.3mg Afoxolaner - the pet size range differs slightly and is listed in kg), is $53.48 USD. Granted, you pay for shipping and it takes 1-2 weeks to arrive, but if you're looking to stock up on a year's supply of medication, this is the way to go.

For what kind of medicine? Heartworm testing will be required to get a Heartworm preventive prescription.

I was literally looking at this yesterday. This was around $62-65 yesterday. I ended up getting at costco which is 63 bucks.

Unless something has recently changed there are no online vets you can get prescriptions from. If it's a matter of getting them in soon because you need a script sooner than later, see if you have something else like a vetco in your area that will do prescriptions for online retailers. I've used one called Pet Well Clinic, and they would approve of prescriptions, but did require a well check and heartworm test the first time, and after that as long as they were calling in the prescription and knew I kept my dog up on it they didn't require anything but the annual well check.

The other thing to be aware of (for anyone that may be new to this) is that some vet offices charge a fee to write/approve scripts from someone other than them. One vet I was at charged so much that I wouldn't have saved any money getting it online, in fact it would have cost more than buying it directly from the vet. In the last year I lucked into a new vet office for my cats that isn't doing this and even actively encouraged me to take advantage of whatever deals I could find for bulk buying online.
