I think most people do. I bought a Vizio 65" M658 new in early 2020. Luckily, I also bought the extended warranty. It's been repaired 3 times and is about to be repaired again. The first 2 times it failed were within the first year of ownership. TV would randomly reboot about every other day or so. The second issue was the audio would keep switching from my Soundbar to the TV speakers. I bought a replacement Soundbar thinking that was the problem but it wasn't. The third service call was the 1st problem again in year 3 of ownership. All 3 times they told me they replaced a board inside the TV but idk which board. Just this week, there's a large spot in the display where everything is pinkish, probably a 8"-9" area.
At this price, I would consider another Vizio but only with the extended warranty.

At this price, I would consider another Vizio but only with the extended warranty.
Basically, maintenance on anything other than the screen for one of today's TVs involves either replacing the motherboard or the power board. If it is the display they just replace the whole TV.
I ALWAYS buy extended warranties on every major purchase...you chose well.
I bought my Vizio from Sam's club also when no one had heard of them. 2007 $1700 for a 47" lcd when plasma vs lcd was the big argument. Two hdmi ports and it weighed a ton. Lasted over a decade until the screen went black. Replaced every board on the inside and couldn't bring it back. Ended up with a Costco Hisense from a slickdeal but I had no idea Vizio had gone downhill like that.
