I recently fit four 18" tires in a Mazda 3 back seat just fine. Maybe the 4th was in the trunk?
Found a crazy deal on tire rack back then on last year production tires. Pro tip - check cash back shopping portals if shopping at tire rack. I got an extra $80 back a few months back by using one to buy from them. Might help someone else.
They're not that big. You can fit all 4 in a car. Just have to be strategic - back seats + trunk.

How do you install tires that you buy online? Do you transport them to a shop? You must all have a truck.
Check if you have mobile tire services in your area. I started doing this 2 years ago and never looked back. You pay a little more for convenience but they come to you and it doesn't take half your day away waiting on your car.
Don't recommend cooper tire, I had these exact tires for 30k, and they wore out unevenly even though my car was perfectly aligned.
Tires are super YMMV. There are always people who seem to have issues and others that don't. For instance, I have these exact tires dated 2016. They probably have 30-40k miles on them and have been amazing. Zero issues and are probably at 40% tread remaining? I would buy these again in a second, I just don't need them.
Did you install another brand and it had even wear without an alignment @ another 30k?
Yes, I replaced them with Continental tires. I took it to get it aligned, and my alignment was all within in the correct measurements. I commute so I rotate and baby my tires.
I like to use Walmart to install & balance tires. I usually do a long road trip once a year, if the tires need balance, I'm almost always within a fairly short ride tob a WM. Price to mount and *lifetime* balance is competitive.
Some locations have excellent shops with competent staff, and some are the very pit of automotive hell. Use your eyes, ears, and nose.
Not gonna trust high schoolers to install my tires.
Got these a few days ago. Used a amex 30% off coupon which took off another $30, Total was $333.32 plus taxes. I Was kinda annoyed that the DOT# was from early 2023. Called customer service and they offered to take them back but at that price point I could live with it.
These tires are made in China. FWIW, the ones I initially got developed dryrot cracks after 2.5 years. They replaced them under warranty after some back and forth, and the new ones I got did the same after 3 years. No warranty replacement this time. They wear out too fast as well. Not buying another Cooper.
100 percent true. Tire installers are all the same. And I've never heard of Walmart with tire service. None of them near me have that.
I don't think I've ever seen a Walmart that doesn't do tires, honestly.
Anyway, for online tires, I've used a variety of local shops. Midas has even been fine and one of the cheaper options, although I wouldn't trust them for much else. Not sure how big of a chain Mr. Tire is but there's a bunch of them here, and they're cheap an Tire Rack recommended.
