I purchased the Samsung S90C OLED 65-inch TV through the Samsung official website, utilizing a student discount. During my interaction with the sales representative, I received an additional 10% discount on top of the ongoing sale, and I also applied a student ID discount. Additionally, the sales rep offered complimentary wall mounting service with the purchase. I've included my receipt with the link for your reference. With Tax I paid around $1290.93

Bought this a few mos. back for the same price with EDU discount. It's my first OLED television and I absolutely love it; plus while I didn't get free mounting, I did get the 2 year extended warranty thrown in for free. I do now wish I'd went for the 77" though instead of the 65" because ithe wall I have it mounted on would accommodate the larger set a bit better... but that's just me being picky. This is an excellent deal on one of the best 4K OLED televisions I've ever laid eyes upon.

I recall their first gen QD OLED had firmware updates that drastically lowered peak brightness to reduce burn in. So much so rtings had to go back and revise their brightness numbers.

I experienced the same thing while buying a bespoke fridge. I asked the sales rep a trade in question, and samsung automatically added a 10% discount

Bundled the Q990C drops to $605 with additional bundle discount for a pretax total of $1819.98

The S90C can be "settings upgraded" to the S95C too (higher brightness and HDR performance)

My beloved 13-year-old Samsung Plasma just died and I was looking for a replacement. It was a solid workhorse for Netflix and chill, IYKYK. I followed the same steps as OP, and chatted with a rep, they got the price down to 1,214, including two years of extended warranty and free installation (mount sold separately).

Is the 65" S90C guaranteed to be a QDOLED panel now? I know early on the 65" S90C was a panel lottery - some were QDOLED and some were WOLED. But not sure if that has changed. The 77" S90C never had that potential problem, it was only ever produced with a QDOLED panel.

They were all QD-OLEDs.....some 65" S90C models have the first gen panel and some have the second gen panel
To my knowledge you cant tell by the serial number on the box either. You have to turn the TV and go into the menu
