The Kindle Scribe is on sale today for 28% off of its normal price of $389.99 (32GB). I've been waiting for the price to drop for now, so I pulled the trigger. You can also make this even slicker by trading In an old kindle device for an additional 20% off. I bought an old kindle off of eBay for cheap, and then traded it in for the additional 20%.
My final price was about $215, as I got 20% off, and got a $20 gift card for the old kindle I traded in. Hopefully someone else can benefit as well.

I can't speak for personal experience, but all the research I've done seems to say overall the Scribe is better, but the remarkable does have a higher build quality and premium feel
