If you have a Nikon camera to trade in then NikonUSA may have a better deal for you.
Example: I've a Z6 in good condition and the trade in value is $400 and there's a discount of $1,000 so the Z7II price will be $1,599.95. Hopefully I can sell it for more elsewhere but I wanted to see what I can fetch with the trade in.

Nikon's been very slow updating the mid-range Z, that doesn't mean these cameras are up to date.

someone at Samy's traded in a Z6 II with **12** shutter count, no box but otherwise in excellent condition.
had I done the trade-in with my D750 I could've gotten a brand new one for the same price.
ugh. might have to return the used one.
thank you for this!

That said, it's hard to argue that the Z5,Z6 and Z7 series (and the Z30/ZFc/Z50) aren't pretty far behind Canon and Sony in the AF department especially
I love my Z5 and Nikon makes some great lenses.... just realize that anything other than the Z8, Z9 and possibly the ZF are going to have AF challenges in some situations.
