I purchased a 12k "hose-in-hose" Midea unit for my parents last year. It is superior to the single hose, but the inlet and outlet are in the same hose. Some air will mix. In addition, the part that seals in the window is not great. Even with applying foam, there are minor gaps.

All of these portable ACs are terrible when compared to a window AC. If you have a vertical window, you should consider a U shaped window AC. Not only does it cool faster, it's way quieter, doesn't take up any floor space, don't have to worry about dumping condensation water, has better window seal, and you can even open your window if you want to.
Having the dual tube design is very important. One tube for drawing in outside air and one for exhausting the hot air. Looks like a good deal from a great vendor. Congrats on making a good contribution to the site and welcome.
Good price. But I had a unit, broke after 2 months, had an error code that indicated refrigerant leak, god a full refund from Sam's.

Depending on your climate a heater function is a nice to have feature, which this unit lacks. The heat pump is already there, they could add it with minimal effort/cost.

Depends on the ambient humidity. The more water vapor in the air the more water will be collected.

What stops the air inlet from drawing in exhaust if it's a hose in hose with same exit entrance?
