target sells this for $85 and the reviews are not good. Solid base but thin pole so wobbles. Lots of people said faulty wiring so used many bulbs in one year. Cheap lamp but up to you. I'm going to pass.
So I bought this, people who say ita wobbly did not tighten the lamp together correctly. There is a bolt at the bottom you can tighten which makes the thing pretty solid. GOod deal.
reviews are so bad

A: No. 3-way bulbs have three separate contacts to allow a three-way switch to power different incandescent filaments, to switch powers between three levels. Dimmable means that you can use a dimmer switch (replacement for a regular wall switch) to adjust the light intensity gradually across a wide range.
Certain compact fluorescent lamp bulbs are designed to replace 3-way incandescent bulbs, and have an extra contact and circuitry to bring about similar light level. In recent years, LED 3-way bulbs have become available as well.
I'm pretty sure there's nothing wrong with this lamp. I think the problem is they included the wrong light bulb. You can't use the standard LED light bulb in this thing. It's made for a three-way incandescent bulb. Which has three different wires. You can now buy three-way light bulbs that are fluorescent or LED. You want a three-way LED bulb like this:

This is absolute misinformation. Regular light bulbs work just fine in a 3-way socket. They have been for DECADES. There is no issue with compatibility.

I got mine too and I like the look of it. The lamp shade is bigger than I expected. We are gonna try tightening the bolt at the base to see if that fixes the 5 degrees tilt.

I actually would have thought you to be correct. But I have a table model of a similar lamp...3-way touch. I put one of my older dimmable smart bulbs in it in a pinch, and I was surprised that it made the smart bulb a 3-way bulb.
