Not slick. This is always this price, and sometimes lower.
Truth.
The sets look great, but there have been almost weekly opportunities to buy at 20% off.
I've bought $3000 worth of LEGO over the last 15 months (mostly Star Wars and Ideas) and I'm looking more for 40% off as a slicker deal.
40% off is a better target for buying if you're trying to be opportunistic and it's attainable a few times a year, usually during predictable sales. Prime Day, Black Friday, Walmart in-store clearance are all solid places to score LEGO deals at 40% off or more.
I think it was a Mother's Day post, but it's true the best sales are usually not at the best time, and usually start the day after you've bought the item
Would jump on this deal for $35 or less. But not to save a little less then $12.
I got a "similar" item from a Chinese website for $20.
It came quickly with box and instructions: easy to assemble.
A friend of mine has this one and we will compare soon.

$3000 for $10 worth of colored plastic bricks with near 0 resale value. Legos can never be a good deal.
Edit: I guess they can be a good deal, but never a good value.
