This will do well for a dorm. The Roland FP30 is better but this one is more compact, cheaper, and also has the ability to be run off batteries in case they'd want to bring it with them for some reason easily.
Thanks, how do the key weights feel compared to a grand or vs the FP30?
The weight/action on the Casio is good but it's much lighter than a grand. The FP30s is much heavier.
