So this is why they put a bunch of silly warning labels on product nowadays.
Camphor, Menthol, Methyl Salycitate, etc get down a layer or so depending on where you apply it and which compoound and muscle density from stiffness.
If you have muscle pain and it isn't from being injured recently you would actually want to treat the problem and not try to treat the pain. Get a bag of Magnesium Chloride crystals and make a mix of quality Apple Cider with a 100% DV dose of MgCL in the morning, do another dose at night with any fluid that covers the taste of the MgCL. This will FORCE muscle relaxation naturally, Epsom Salt baths do help too but that is more like what the Salonpas is treating outer flesh. The MgCL will reboot your central nervous system and muscle system after a few days it should be much different. If it FEELS like there is more give the area MUST be stretched gently daily while doing this or you WILL void your warranty! If that doesn't work get a bag of Arginine HCL try 4 grams a day for a year or two, this will also fix prediabetes if you take it with...I think B3 and Curcumin or other strong antioxidant/antiinflamatory like Pau de Arco or Quercetin Bromelaine etc..
Now if it is the end of the muscle where it turns to connecting tissue..we drink distilled water or aquafina and try to leach out the chlorine, bromine/mide, flouride, etc as this messes up that tissues and our cardiac tissues (hardened arteries heart disease) they get used in place of Iodine especially if you don't add enough iodized salt to your diet. It blocks out vitamin D and calcium from doing their proper roles and instead builds crystaline hard structures in place of tissues that require being soft and pliant. probly 6-12 months take an Iodine, vitamin D and vitamin C extended release supplement and possibly even gloucosamine sulfate potassium chloride and unless it is a stab or gunshot wound you may see a major pain reduction.
Also smile and be happy, otherwise your dopamine cycles won't function properly and pain is MUCH more noticeable.
