Well, if the item was actually popular, people would probably comment on it. But if the SD staff just "makes" it popular, it's not going to get as many comments because people are either not interested or don't consider it a good deal.
The inferior non li-on model made it to FP last week for $25 or so. This model is superior to the stainless steel on Amazon for $74, and retails $80 on Wahls site
But if all 3 of those top 5 deals are all posted by staff, doesn't that seem like a trend? It's not uncommon, it's the norm. Very shill vibe going on and the community is aware.
