    I am passing because it isn't 4K.

    They do sell a new two 4K one but it is way more expensive and the code does not work on it.

    Keep in mind, this is "DisplayLink" which is a GPU-less display. This will consume a CPU core or two in your computer to software rasterize, then encode/compress, transmit via USB to the hub, which has a basic decode/decompress algorithm in the chip to convert it to DVI (which is also a subset of HDMI). The remote display will not be suitable for anything other than productivity tasks, and maybe videos. Gaming or any latency sensitive stuff isn't gonna cut it.

    It needs 12V power supply. Wait for a deal with usb-c that does not need a separate power supply. Bought one before at ~ $15 from Amazon but with only one HDMI compared to this one.

    Business and school projectors usually have DVI and HDMI out so I can see the reason from that aspect. If the school has a smaller budget, then they will definitely have old PJ's with DVI and VGA only.
