Target has Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol.1 on Nintendo Switch as a Target Circle Deal for $19.99. Price also applies to PlayStation and Xbox versions but they're out of stock online. You must sign into your Target account to get the sale price. Free shipping for $35 orders.

Includes "Metal Gear Solid," "Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty," "Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater" , "Metal Gear" and "Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake" and "Metal Gear: Snake's Revenge". Keep in mind the Switch version contains the data to launch the games but you must download everything besides the retro titles.

the price it should've been from the start
I don't want to buy any switch game that isn't fully on the cart. It's honestly straight bullshit.
At this point I can't even justify this price. I'd rather just emulate them on the SD.

I have seen several posts that state this runs horribly on the switch, I wouldn't spend more than $10 for it on switch, and only digital if I did (because I wouldn't want to be locked to needing a cart if I got it, since you have to download the larger titles anyway)

Nintendo Switch cart includes the following games only:

- Metal Gear (MSX)
- Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake
- Metal Gear (NES)
- Snake's Revenge

That means Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, and 3 must be downloaded. The back of the Nintendo Switch box confirms the game requires a download of at least 32GB, and a microSD card is required.

I wouldn't buy this second hand, because most of the games and content must be downloaded. Only NES stuff comes on the cartridge.

I'm pretty sure this only needs the cartridge to get the games downloaded. Like Assassins Creed Black Flag on cart and Rogue is a download that only needs the cart. There's no codes like some other games (FFX with X2 code)

Why should that matter in terms of buying it second hand, especially if you can find it cheaper that way? Is there a DLC code required?
