Absolutely does not apply to all nice watches regarding making money. Pretty much only the super high end. Breitling, Tudor, etc all still depreciate from retail. Grand Seiko can find most for half price which is more than any sale, but buy what you like and don't worry about the resale 👌🏾
It's a 35mm btw. Could be considered fashionably small on most male wrists these days.
I've spent roughly $170k on watches in the past 3 years and I browse Slickdeals all the time with a ton of alerts. I like saving money as much as anyone else.

Wow what a slick deal! How could I pass up on this!
You are saying it's a bad deal? seems good if you look at resale or other postings. Buy a cheap watch you'll lose money, buy a nice watch, you'll make money if you take care of it.
Not a bad price for a Breitling but note the small-ish 35mm size (market trend is 40mm or more). The dial color can be politely described as an acquired taste.
I personally don't have any experience with jomashop but there seems to be a lot of hate for them around here. Use your judgment.

It's a 35mm case...........If this was 38mm or above, I probably would have jumped on it. I bought my BB41 heritage from Joma a few years ago. zero issues.

This isn't true. Especially if you send them off for maintenance. No way this watch appreciates.
Beautiful watch, if I had stupid money I wonder if I would buy it or be like it only cost 2 grand phshhh. Like the watch though any knock offs out there I'm in

Maybe not this watch, but if you bought a $5,000 Rolex 20 years ago, you would have probably quadrupled your money
