Shouldn't someone running for the President of the US, believe in the US enough to keep his money here?

Why doesn't Romney have enough faith in America to keep his money invested in America? Do we really want someone who doesn't trust America enough to keep his money here to be President of the United States? You know the old saying "Put your money where your mouth is."

I am not saying Romney has no chance of winning. And other than the party that belongs to, he might even not be a disastrous president.


But he sure is a disaterous candidate.

Face it, we lost our one chance at a decent candidate for either side when we let Ron Paul get railroaded. We deserve the pathetic, overbearing, nanny government we get.

It doesn't make sense. Not releasing lets Obama's people crush him on this issue. "Who knows what he's illegally hiding! Let's speculate from here to the election!"

I mean, that's crazy to allow to happen. It's crazy it's been allowed to happen up to this point. And it's crazy having that quote from his dad about it. The only reason to let it go this far would be...

He's in trouble. My god, how did the other 16 Repub candidates not break through on this issue in the primary? He's been running for president for almost a decade now. He seriously chose not to clean up the numbers? He chose the money instead of this Groundhog day of a moment? Chicago's gonna eat this sucker alive. All that political theater and ya'll didn't vet for s#$%.

Obviously, because America is governed by people like Barack Obama.

Why doesn't he follow his own father's example who released 12 years of his tax returns when running for office? The other people running in this election have. Well.... at least the democrats.

When his own father was running, the US was governed much better, with far less government spending and far more economic growth. It was much more prudent to invest in the United States at the time.

He might. Everyone has something to hide.

But given that Romney does not manage his own money, and it's in blind trusts or retirement accounts, one wonders exactly what you are accusing him of.

Well it speaks to his management skills. He's delegated his investments over to someone else. Much like how a President has to delegate to other people. He chose the blind trust trustee. He chose someone that feels it's better to use his money to create jobs overseas instead of in the United States. He can't claim to have not known this was happening, since "a Bermuda corporation wholly owned by W. Mitt Romney" is one of the assets. Generally, if you own a company, you are aware of it. It's also clearly spelled out on his tax return. He could simply have choosen another trustee that would have used his money to create jobs in the US and not overseas. His rhetoric says one thing, he's behavior says another.

I get it that some of you don't think that the President of the United States should believe in America, but I guess I'm old fashion in thinking they should.
