I think the main issues are there is a good chance he paid no taxes in 1 or more years, which certainly is not going to endear himself to your average voter, and secondly they most likely show he was still working at Bain in the years where he has publicly stated he was not.
I imagine Roney wants to distance himself as much as possible from Stericycle. A confirmation on his personal taxes that he invested in fetus removal isn't going to make him look like the good old conservative he is pretending to be. “We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.” ― Benjamin Franklin

That's not an accusation, it is an estimate of probability.
An indicator is meaningful when judging a large group like devo was doing. When I'm talking about specific individuals with specific on the record evidence like Romney and you, the evidence is much more damning and less likely that projection is a factor. I'll just assume you're were unable to discern that difference and weren't being intentionally dishonest. |

He's learned from being burned in the past. Look what happened last time. He gave McCain 23 years of returns. McCain said no thanks and that Palin would be a better choice. That's got to sting. So there must be something in them so bad that all the bad press from not releasing them is the better alternative.

And if you point to some questionable deductions for Obama, I'm all ears. I bet his deductions were for RE taxes, interest and charitable donations. You know, ordinary people deductions. The article you linked showed nothing questionable. Rather it just built a straw man argument to trick slower minds into believing Obama is being hypocritical. No one criticized Romney for using deductions (nice straw man). We criticize him for gaming the system by calling his dancing horses therapy for his friggin wife.
