Egyptians angry at film scale U.S. embassy walls Egyptian protesters scaled the walls of the U.S. embassy on Tuesday, tore down the American flag and burned it during a protest over what they said was a film being produced in the United States that insulted Prophet Mohammad. Washington has a big mission in Egypt, partly because of a huge aid programme that followed Egypt's signing of a peace treaty with Israel in 1979. The United States gives $1.3 billion to Egypt's military each year and offers the nation other aid. When I 1st read this story, I thought "What else is new" After I continued to read, I saw the second paragraph, and wonder why we continue to provide "Military aid"? Of course it is to keep peace between Egypt and Israel. -Should Israel pay America for this "Protection"? Back to the story- I also read this- The U.S. embassy had put out a statement earlier on Tuesday condemning "misguided individuals" who hurt the religious feelings of Muslims or followers of other religions. "We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others," the U.S. embassy said in its statement. So free speech is okay as long as you do not include religion? Hmmmmmm

What's funny is that few, if any, in America will take this story seriously because we see this type of stuff happen all the dang time.
It gets filed in the "Another average week in the Middle East" folder. The truth: Management at IRS can blame themselves and how they have chaotic and poor management, but God-forbid you, or I, or anybody else in America gets audited and doesn't have their ducks in order and s***-together, your ass is going to court or jail.
Shout out to Congressman Mike Kelly for stating it as it is... Link [realclearpolitics.com] |

It's totally cool for them to break in to our embassy, tear down our flag, and then burn it however. Seriously, the sooner we get off our oil addiction we can leave that part of the world and let them do to each other what they've been doing for centuries... |

Not just the Egyptians who are angry - the Lybians too [bbc.co.uk].
Hopefully the American public will wake up to the fact that the "Arab Spring" was simply Obama handing over the Middle East and North Africa to radical Islamists. "If an American is to amount to anything he must rely upon himself, and not upon the State; he must take pride in his own work, instead of sitting idle to envy the luck of others. He must face life with resolute courage, win victory if he can, and accept defeat if he must, without seeking to place on his fellow man a responsibility which is not theirs.” --- Theodore Roosevelt

Ignorant uneducated people be easily (mis)guided by religion? Who knew?
It's unclear where anybody ever got the idea that a free market results in low prices when the entire point of capitalism is to maximize profit and low prices are less profitable. Therefore the natural proclivity should be to collude and fix prices at the highest sustainable point.
Oh, it's illegal to collude and fix prices and whatnot as deemed by the gubmint? Who are they to say how a free market should work when it's a matter of divinity per Adam Smith whose book nobody bothered to read? |

I don't agree that this was Obama's goal, but it does seem to be the end result. In other news, these backwards farks killed the US Ambassador and a couple other Americans. http://www.cnn.com/2012/09/12/wor...homepage-t |
